Digital 488/32HS enables a Sun workstation to transfer digital data toand from an external device at up to 1 MB per second. For example, adiscrete A/D converter's digital output can be transmitted at high speedswhenever new data is available. Conversely, Digital 488/32HS can drive aD/A converter at speeds up to 1 M sample per second. The unit is housedin a rugged, rack-mountable enclosure; it includes handshake and servicerequest lines on both 16-bit input and output ports. C libraries areavailable for easy integration into test programs.Digital 488/32HS can also be controlled from Labtech Notebook, DADisp,and N!Power. The unit connects to a Sun workstation with an IEEE 488interface, also available from IOtech.
